Our company
Fonderia Gattelli was founded in Lugo di Romagna in 1963 as a small aluminum sand casting foundry. The constant growth leads us today to occupy two separate facilities for a total covered area of 18,500 m².
History
At the beginning of the 90s the company underwent a generational change which led it to completely renew its process becoming a gravity die casting foundry, from here begins the new history of Fonderia Gattelli, which to earn its current reputation welcomes challenges of particularly complex castings for different product sectors.

With great commitment, competence and professionalism, this knowledge of over 60 years is consolidated and today transmitted to a highly specialized team that operates with the best technologies available to the world of foundries.
Research
The continuous search for performance optimization has led our castings to be assembled in the motoring, automotive, racing, mechanical, nautical and special applications environments.
In addition to the production activity, research and development activities were carried out where we were supported by external collaborators such as national research institutes and universities.

Creation of a brand new state of the art facility for 9.000 m²
Completion of the plant and growth up to 7.500 m²
Acquistion of expanction site of 60.000 m².
New robotic platfroms for series production.
New machines to fulfill the increased efficiency demand in the original building 3.000 m².
Generational change and new technologies.
Acquistion of 5.000 m² of industrial area and first buildings.
First sand casting done in Lugo di Romagna.
